On July 6th, 1942 in a murder mystery dinner extravaganza, 10 friends gathered to wine, dine, and determine the murderer and true cause of death of The Black Cat, France’s greatest living mime artist. It ended up being the best murder mystery dinner we’ve hosted.
Meet the suspects of The Brie The Bullet and the Black Cat:
Kirk Ramson III, an American romantic hero—nursing a broken heart.
Otto Von Pinkelwurst, a German officer
Monsieur Oily-Carte, a booking agent for the Moulin Bleu nightclub in Paris
Hughes Le Grandbutte, the Deputy-Mayor of Casablanca
Nicole Le Grandbutte, the French daughter of Hughes and Edith, and Pierre Paysanki, her lover and a French/Russian poet.
“Would you like to hear my poetry?”
Cherie Boot, an androgenous French cabaret singer
Kirk Ramson III with his mistresses, Edith Le Grandbutte and Danish art-dealer Ingrid Pith
Kirk Ramson III with yet another mistress? Countess Bogov, a Russian aristocrat in exile
….Who dun it??
Ps. No actual cigarette smoking occurred during the mystery— smoke effects added later with Photoshop!
